The purpose of the Ohio Detectorists Association (ODA) is to promote the hobby of Metal Detecting by creating opportunities for learning, discussion and camaraderie for those that enjoy metal detecting. 

To meet frequently and discuss ideas that can impact the community in a positive professional manner.

To share openly our experiences and expertise with those new to the hobby as well as those that would consider themselves experts.

We are a group of metal detectorists who strive to save and share buried history one piece at a time.
